"Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free" (John 8:32).

For Christian Scientists worldwide, this promise that Christ Jesus made holds very special meaning. When I first began to know the truth of myself as God's spiritual, loved child and began to glimpse the glory of God's incorporeal, perfect creation, wonderful changes began to take place.

For instance, nineteen years ago, my employment placed me in a small New England town. My work was a combination of selling and installing laundry equipment. Two days after arriving I aggravated a back condition (a slipped disk) for which I had previously been hospitalized. I was fearful and didn't know what to do.
