Steadfast Love

Steadfast Love,
that's what You are,
my Father and my friend.
You'll see me through
and stay the course
on a journey without end.

You are my God,
rock-solid, secure,
on whom I've learned to lean.
You know the paths my feet have trod
and the ones I've not yet seen.

I love the way You care for me
in little things and grand.
Safe in Your love I'll always be
no matter where I stand.

Steadfast, You are
unfailing, strong,
and never will forget
the child of Your own handiwork—
Your promises are kept.
