I am so grateful for this opportunity to share some of the good...
I am so grateful for this opportunity to share some of the good that has taken place in my life during the past few years.
A few months after my husband's passing, my son visited me. We spent some time recalling the good years I'd had with my husband—the trips and many other happy times. We expressed much gratitude for this past chapter in my life, and I felt I was ready for the next one. I had a feeling of quiet joy as I thought of God's ever-unfolding purpose for His idea, man.
Before this talk with my son, I had been suffering from the symptoms of a cold. Now, about two hours later, I realized that during our happy reminiscing the cold symptoms had completely left me. I felt such a sense of freedom and of pure love and gratitude over this proof that God was indeed caring for me. In addition, the abundant love shown to me by all my dear friends after my husband's passing had just poured into my thought, leaving no room for any discord to develop.
