How does one know which healings to relate? I've had so many blessings and proofs of God's goodness and power that I could not tell about them all here. Still, a few healings stand out.

Shortly after our daughter was born, we noticed that one of her feet turned inward noticeably. I knew that this could be healed through Christian Science, but my husband, who is not a Christian Scientist, insisted that we take the child to a doctor. We did and were referred to an orthopedic specialist, who took X-rays and put a cast on her entire foot and leg. This took place when our daughter was about three months old. The cast was changed periodically after that to allow for the baby's growth.

After about four months the cast was removed, but our daughter's foot was no better. The orthopedic specialist said that he would leave the cast off for two weeks to give the leg and foot a rest, and then we were to bring her back to have another cast put on. He said that after the cast treatment, our daughter would very likely have to wear special shoes during most of her childhood. He also said that if this didn't straighten the foot, probably surgery would be necessary.
