WAKE!
Duane Valentry
I prayed for peace, for I had none;
I prayed for joy, which had fled.
But just as the prayer went out of my heart
"you are Mine! You are loved!" a voice said.
And my peace returned as the sunshine,
And my joy as a flowing stream—
And with faith secure in God's dear love,
I awoke from my doubt—a dream.
