I haven't written a testimony since my first one, which was published in an issue of The Herald of Christian Science in 1969. So this public expression of gratitude for my many healings in Christian Science is long overdue.

In Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy we read (p. 233): "Every day makes its demands upon us for higher proofs rather than professions of Christian power. These proofs consist solely in the destruction of sin, sickness, and death by the power of Spirit, as Jesus destroyed them."

Christ Jesus healed the sick, the maimed, the blind, by viewing man correctly, by seeing man as spiritual, perfect, whole, and free from disease. As we are taught in Christian Science, this exalted view, this altitude of thought rising above the testimony of the physical senses, heals the sick.
