I was raised in Christian Science and went all through the Sunday School. Later, though, I fell away from practicing Science, and only in times of great trial did I limp back to it.
I would like to share what is to me a particularly meaningful experience, which occurred about fifteen years ago and which marked my return for good to Christian Science.
A crisis had impelled me to try Science again, and I found things were going immeasurably better since I had been regularly studying the weekly Bible Lessons outlined in the Christian Science Quarterly. It started me on a positive course each day, helping me realize anew that Christ Jesus' gospel message of God's goodness and lovingkindness could be a part of my experience if I would let it. Studying the lesson every morning was the key to opening the door on a shining day—even if mortal sense said otherwise.
