Do we trust our affirmations of truth?
Do we trust the spiritual truths we affirm? Do we trust God, divine Truth, and His spiritual laws without reservation? Whom or what do we consider as the source of our truth-filled knowing?
These are important questions, and often their answers come through experience, as they did to a student of Christian Science who suddenly manifested all the symptoms of what appeared to be influenza.
For days this disease, according to the media, had been making its rounds and taking its toll in his city. Now the Christian Scientist himself felt overcome by it. He fell onto his bed hardly able to breathe. In prayer he reached out to God. Soon he found himself affirming God's loving allness and feeling His tender presence.
