LUCY CHAMBERS KARWELL

See yourself as whole,
expressing all pure qualities
of Soul.
Erase false mortal concepts,
allotting you one gender's limitations.
Disown deceitful sense,
blaring awkward adolescence.
Refuse as well the dreary scene
of disintegration, obsolescence—
you image God's completeness
with no beginning, no end.
Your ageless being
one joyous blend,
woven of strength and gentleness,
courage colored with compassion,
wisdom alight with love!
