Garden of prayer

LOWELL N. CANNON

A continuous harvest
Requires perpetual sowing.
Keeping out choking weeds
Demands persistent hoeing.

Regular watering and lots of light
Ensure perennial growing.
And if fruits seem slow to appear,
Persevere!—patiently knowing.
