God's kingdom: when will it come?
Perhaps it is not unrealistic to estimate that thousands, maybe millions, pray daily, "Thy kingdom come." Matt. 6:10. But how many really expect the imminent fulfillment of that for which they pray?
When will God's kingdom come?
To begin with, the kingdom of God—or, as it is also referred to in the Bible, the kingdom of heaven—is not a political monarchy that can come and go, rise and fall. The kingdom of God is forever, always present. See Matt. 6:13 . Since Deity is infinite and therefore has no real opposite, God, including His kingdom, is never more or less than All-in-all.
