The man of peace

No! Don't react,
Bristle,
Snap back,
Or judge!

Instead ...
Discard the tempting barb,
Toss out that "clever" taunt.
Respond with love,
The love that knows.

Knows man
(Myself and every other one)
As perfect and entire,
Beautiful, distinct—
Born of divine parenting.

Now see the man of peace
And where our peace begins ...
With me and you.
We are that man!
