What a wonderful blessing Christian Science has been to...
What a wonderful blessing Christian Science has been to me all my life! I was brought up in a family that had many members who were Christian Scientists and who had numerous healings over the years. When illnesses appeared during my childhood (and this happened infrequently), we always turned to God for healing. Trusting in God became natural to me.
When I was about seven years old, I had a wonderful healing involving impacted teeth. After I had lost some of my baby teeth, two of the permanent teeth didn't come in as expected. For a year there were gaps where the teeth should have been, and other teeth already in place were affected. (I remember I was embarrassed about the ugly appearance of my teeth during that time.)
Finally, a dentist determined that the two missing teeth were lying sideways in the gum. The dentist said that an operation was the only medical way to correct the situation.
