I welcome this opportunity to express my appreciation for Christian Science and to share some of the healings I have had as an active church member during a period that spans more than thirty years. At different times I have belonged to branch churches and societies in various areas of the United States.

Christian Science offers so many advantages. In addition to healing physical ills, the teachings of Christian Science advance our understanding of the relation of God and man. This regeneration of thought, through the redeeming power of the Christ, inspires us to practice Science consistently. And we have opportunities to share it with others. A spiritual understanding of God's creation releases human thought from the limitations of material beliefs and provides a solid basis for demonstrating health, happiness, and success at home, in business, and in society.

One day several years ago a painful sore developed on my right foot. Soon I became quite feverish and could hardly walk. I called a Christian Science practitioner for prayerful help. And I myself prayed to recognize and accept a clearer view of God's allness and man's perfect relationship to Him. I also acknowledged God's ever-present love for His creation, which includes me.
