Christ stills complaint

In divine Love there is never cause for complaint. Love's expression, spiritual man, reflects the justice and mercy of his creator. Man, our true selfhood, lives in perpetual peace and moves in harmonious accord with the unstrained, inexhaustible omniaction of God.

Supported by these facts, such commands of Christ Jesus as "Whosoever shall compel thee to go a mile, go with him twain" Matt. 5:41. could never impose insurmountable hardship. Still, people sometimes find it tough to prove their God-given capacities to go that extra mile, to forgive seventy times seven.

Nature offers some instructive examples of the instincts we need to watch if we are to improve our tolerance and endurance. A llama, for instance, is normally a dependable, placid beast of burden. But let a load that the llama feels is too heavy or a journey that seems too long overtax it, and its disposition changes. Kicking, spitting, and hissing at its keeper, the llama sinks to the ground, refusing to budge until relieved or rested, as the situation may require.
