The things that happened were remarkable. Isn't this what gave Christianity such force originally?
It wasn't theorizing and talking and endlessly exhorting people to be better, but leaving them better irresistibly. They walked away without sickness and went away separated from sin.
The name for it was Christian healing. This Christian healing is still going on, wherever a larger sense of God's meaning for man prevails.
