In Science and Health, Mrs. Eddy assures us (p. 246), "Except for the error of measuring and limiting all that is good and beautiful, man would enjoy more than threescore years and ten and still maintain his vigor, freshness, and promise." This statement applies to me, and my vigor and my love for Christian Science grow every day. Fresh views are continually astonishing me as I daily watch and pray.
When my husband passed away after we had had many happy years of working together for the Cause of Christian Science, I came to live in a residence for Christian Scientists. I am very happy in the wonderful sense of home that continues to bless me. I am learning more and more how to be loving and kind and to avoid personalizing error. My heart overflows with gratitude to God for the faithful workers who persevered in establishing this residence. A loved brother and my eldest son, who is still active in maintaining the residence, are among those for whom I am grateful.
