"Noah walked with God"! Shouldn't we?

The Bible reports that "Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God." Gen. 6:9. He was so consistently attentive to God that he was impelled to make wise plans, in advance of need, to save himself, his family, and his animal friends from the great flood.

In the Scriptural account we are told of the general materialistic thoughts and practices of the peoples of earth. According to the report, God provided for the destruction of wicked earthlings and sent a flood to accomplish it.

But was the destruction planned and executed by God? The prophet Habakkuk points to a great truth when he says of God, "Thou art of purer eyes than to behold evil, and canst not look on iniquity." Hab. 1:13.
