The light

Now that I am come out of darknessinto this marvelous light—into God's splendid, radiant worldmade blazing bright by the Word of Truth—I could, if I felt inclined(and with nary a qualm),take a look at the night;look at its once-feared darkwith my new-washed eyesmade sharp by the revelationshining about. For I know(and oh! the delight of knowing!)the night will be gone.

Wherever I look with my new eyes, fresh bathed in the brillianceof their first awareness, night will be fled:for in God's universe(Lord! What a beautiful world!)it is always a clear day, there is always this marvelous light.
