More than ever before, I see the need to share with others...
More than ever before, I see the need to share with others our healings in Christian Science.
I am especially grateful for a healing our seven-year-old daughter had this past school year. One day her school called me and told me to come immediately because our little girl had fallen in gym class. I felt especially concerned, for I had struggled with the fear that an emergency might arise at school that we, as Christian Scientists, would be unable to meet.
When I arrived at the school, the nurse's office was filled with people—a volunteer ambulance attendant, office staff, and the classroom teacher—all very worried about the condition of our daughter. The ambulance attendant indicated that the child had a broken nose. In view of this the school personnel felt it was necessary to take her to the emergency medical center. I had called a Christian Science practitioner before leaving home and again from the school. I decided to take our child home. (The practitioner had said she would come over immediately.) The school staff reluctantly, but lovingly, helped me get our daughter to the car.
