It's all right to cry...
There was one who did ...
She found the joy of reformation.
She wept at Jesus' feet
And washed them with her tears.
What brought all this about?
The Christ had touched true selfhood,
Releasing perfect love and purity of being.
Is there a burden that's impossible to bear?
A fear that all is lost? No hope for good tomorrows?
Then let the Christly touch of God's dear love
Awaken thought to what you already are.
Obedient yielding to the will divine and conscious
unity with Life
Come not from human effort, willful struggle, or
a special grace.
All selfhood is expressed in Christliness and goodness—
Unfailingly by Principle, the only Life of man.
So wash away the stains of selfish doing
And feel the joys of heaven now at hand.
It's all right to cry.
