It is with deep gratitude and in the hope that others will be encouraged to study the teachings of Christian Science that I share this healing.
Just before a recent Wednesday testimony meeting at my branch church, I was exchanging some thoughts with a fellow member. We agreed that it is important, when praying in Christian Science concerning a problem, to keep in mind that since God, Spirit, is actually All-in-all, one is not facing a fixed, material condition but an illusion—a false, material sense that has no history and cannot recur.
After the service I was in a hurry, and I accidentally tripped on the way out, falling headlong onto the pavement. The impact was stunning. But instantly I felt gratitude for a flood of angel thoughts which filled my consciousness. And I was able to stand up, although with some difficulty.
