From childhood I felt a great inclination toward reading, and I preferred religious subjects. For that reason I listened to religious programs that were broadcast over the radio, and wrote letters to the stations in order to receive the literature they offered.

I also pursued Biblical correspondence courses of different religions, studying with great devotion the material I received through them. But in time it all became very confusing to me, and there were no practical results from my study.

One day, over the radio, I heard a program that The Mother Church broadcast at that time in Argentina. Afterward I wrote for more information to the address that had been given. I wanted (as always) to know more about God. The literature arrived, and upon reading it, I noticed the understandable and lovely way Christian Science interprets the Scriptures. Then, from reading the Christian Science textbook, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy, I began to gain a different focus on life; I started to see the total goodness of God's creation. As I continued reading, the truth of the statements in this book was verified in my experience; I had proofs of God's law in action.
