FOR CHILDREN
Sing a song
Do you like to sing? Doesn't singing make you happy so you want to laugh? A song can burst out like a shout and say to the world, "I'm happy today!" A song can float lightly in the air like a flying bird and lift sad thoughts high until they disappear.
People all over the world sing. They sing when they play and dance. They sing to make their work easier and happier. Children and grown-ups sing.
There are many songs and many, many voices to sing them. You know, you have a voice. Everyone does. No one's voice is exactly like yours. Your voice belongs to you, and only you can use it. That makes the song you sing very special. Just one of a kind.
