One day I was looking for a very special key that belonged...
One day I was looking for a very special key that belonged to me. I could not remember where I had put it. My mom suggested that I pray and ask God to help me. She also told me that God did not know the meaning of the word "lost," and that therefore I could not have any loss. I then decided to play in the basement. As I was playing, an angel thought told me where to look for my key. When I went to look, it was there. I was very happy and ran to tell my mom. We then thanked God together.
I had a healing last summer. We live on a lake and during the summer we do a lot of swimming. Last summer we noticed that at night my eyes were red and itchy. My mom called a Christian Science practitioner, who said she would pray for me. I talked with the practitioner every day. She asked me to keep my thoughts pure. In Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy my mom looked up this, and it helped us (p. 586): "Eyes. Spiritual discernment,—not material but mental.
"Jesus said, thinking of the outward vision, 'Having eyes, see ye not?' (Mark viii. 18.)" We talked and saw that whatever I needed to understand would come to me through prayer. In a few days my eyes were perfect, and I was able to swim all day with no problems.
