The most meaningful relationship
Much has been written about meaningful relationships. They bring joy to our lives and provide opportunities to express the best qualities in human nature. Good marriages, family ties, and lasting friendships are among the greatest blessings on earth.
These relationships hint at spiritual reality. They give a glimpse of the great truth that God and man, Mind and idea, are inseparable and thus have a perfect spiritual relationship.
Christ Jesus depended upon and demonstrated his unity with the Father in an unparalleled way. By the power and authority of that relationship Jesus stilled the storm, fed the multitudes, healed all manner of disease, raised the dead, and triumphed over death after the crucifixion. Speaking of his relationship with the Father, Jesus said: "The Father hath not left me alone; for I do always those things that please him." John 8:29.
