Good is our birthright
Christ Jesus consistently turned his disciples and those he healed to God, whom he described as Father and as the source of all good. And he said to Mary Magdalene after his resurrection, "I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God." John 20:17.
In Christian Science we learn that God is not a glorified human being. Mrs. Eddy writes in Science and Health, "Christian Science strongly emphasizes the thought that God is not corporeal, but incorporeal,—that is, bodiless." Science and Health, p. 116.
If God is not material, then what is He? He is Spirit, as the Bible tells us. And man is God's spiritual offspring. In reality our spiritual substance comes from God and must invariably be good.
