FOR CHILDREN
Batter up!
Baseball was fun for me. I liked it a lot, but there was one thing that I had a problem with—I couldn't hit the ball! Every game I tried my best, but still I just couldn't hit the ball. The coach said I was the fastest runner on the team and would be a good base runner and base stealer if I ever got on base.
I should tell you that I had always gone to the Christian Science Sunday School, so I knew that God could heal me if I had any kind of sickness. But could I ask Him to help me hit the ball? When I asked my mom about this she began talking with me about the fact that God's child is not limited.
Limitation says: "You can't hit the ball" or, "Girls can't play baseball very well" or, "You've just started to play baseball; the other kids have played longer." But my mom said that as the child of God I really didn't have limited abilities. My ability came from God.
