When healing demands stronger faith
"I have faith in God, yet He doesn't heal me!"
Sometimes it's a secret cry. Sometimes others hear it. Surely it points to a need for better understanding of both God and faith. Such understanding will bring healing to each of us, as sufferers of every kind were healed by Christ Jesus through his supreme faith in and knowledge of God.
Christian Science emphasizes that God, Spirit, is the one creator, as the Bible declares. And Spirit creates only what is spiritual. Does anyone imagine matter to be spiritual? Certainly a physical body isn't spiritual. We may not know fully what our spiritual identity looks like to our Maker, but at least we can be sure that it isn't six feet tall wearing a sweat shirt and blue denim jeans—or five-foot-three in a printed cotton frock!
