One day on a school holiday I wasn't feeling well
One day on a school holiday I wasn't feeling well. I called to my mommy and said, "I have a stomachache." My mommy came and sat down on my bed and said, "Let's say the Lord's Prayer."
As we said the Lord's Prayer I got better and better. When we said, "Thy will be done" [see Matt. 6:10], I realized that God's will would not allow me to feel sick. God's will makes us happy and well. After saying the Lord's Prayer and talking about what it meant to me, I was all better.
I am thankful for Christian Science and for the Christian Science Sunday School, where I am learning about the Bible.
