I am well beyond ninety, and for the past sixty years Christian Science has been my friend and helper when I have been obedient to its teachings. I have had Christian Science class instruction, filled a term as Reader in a branch Church of Christ, Scientist, served as librarian in Christian Science Reading Rooms, and participated in many church activities. I have also been able to help others through Christian Science.

Now, when old-age troubles try to ensnare me, I know that they are nothing—mortal beliefs—and that God is All. As my understanding of my spiritual relationship to God has increased, I have grown in grace and had less need for physical healing.

However, I would like to tell of some instances when I did need healing. At one time I fell and struck the back of my head on an object that made a wound. My daughter telephoned a Christian Science practitioner, who prayed for me immediately. My daughter also called a Christian Science nurse, who cleansed and bandaged the wound. I slept comfortably that night, and in the morning I felt no pain. After a few days all was well. The nurse came and removed the bandage, because the wound was healed.
