Man's present freedom
Perhaps there are times when we would like to escape from some business, health, or marriage problem but feel there is no way. We may suppose we would be better off if we were somewhere else.
But what we really need is a new perception of what life is. Christian Science teaches that man is not mortal but immortal, not material but spiritual. Man is created by God in His own image, as we read in the first chapter of Genesis.
Man, imaging forth God, is not bounded by limitations of any kind. Why? Because God, being Spirit, is boundless, infinite, ever present, All-in-all. Man continuously, actively, expresses God. Man is conscious of his own God-given freedom and ability to know and act as divine reflection. The teaching of Christian Science is the truth. And Christ Jesus said, "Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." John 8:32.
