Guided to supply
For too long just surviving,
Adrift with debt, begging hope—
O survivor, seek thought-income
In Mind, turn to the prophet
(Mind's Elisha within), ask
To be shown what must be done.
The guiding prophet within
Calls to mind Spirit's blessings
Richly belonging to all:
Gentleness, prayer, compassion,
As drops of caring oil falling
On a wanting humanity.
Drops of Spirit's blessings
Become qualities spilling
Into vessels of activity
Beyond borders of before.
Gathered vessels seen in the
Closet of thanks to Spirit
Where the door shuts tightly, closed
To images of without.
Having gathered, prayer is perfect
In ceasing a search for just
One more vessel to fill.
Enduring Spirit gives us
What was ours from the start,
Meeting the need, with freedom
To live of the overflow.
