"The secret place"
Long ago the Psalmist wrote these beautiful words of promise: "He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty." Ps. 91:1. Don't we all sometimes long for a refuge, far removed from the troubles and confusions of this world? Where can we find such a place?
Isn't it the consciousness and demonstration of the allness of God? When we really accept this allness, we preclude false beliefs of evil. We do not have to go anywhere to dwell in this secret place, for we are in it wherever we are.
There are not two creations. There is only one, and that is God's spiritual, harmonious universe; and man, the perfect reflection of God, has his being in God. The discordant world with its disturbed individuals and conditions is the Adam-dream, the lie, the counterfeit to be overcome.
