Hot, cold, or lukewarm?
Disappointed hopes. A dumb job. Daily living a dead end. A trying role. Not much prospect for change. An aching fear expressed in a question: "Is this all there is in life for me?"
Such suggestions may assail. But the rousing, transforming Truth made accessible to us through Christian Science brings a rousing answer.
Speaking of God's lovingkindness and abundant goodness, the Psalmist sang, "With thee is the fountain of life." Ps. 36:9. And the Christian Science textbook, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy, tells us that " ... God is good and the fount of all being...." Science and Health, pp. 243–244. The student of this Science soon learns that man's Life is God, infinite good, perpetually unfolding itself in inexhaustible goodness and intelligence—and that this divine action, humanly perceived, expresses itself as God's law of progress.
