Healing that comes naturally
My friend and I were talking about the wonderful faith often found in children. They frequently manifest absolute trust with such simple, childlike reasoning as: "God is good, and He made everything good. So if something isn't good, you can't have it. Because God won't let you."
"Oh, to be three again!" my friend said. Then she went on to explain that this kind of pure, spiritual reasoning enabled her to begin healing when she was about three years old. One day she told her aunt that her mama was sick. Now, this aunt, a Christian Scientist, had made it possible for her niece to attend the Christian Science Sunday School. So she said to her, "You know how to pray. Go home to your mama and heal her."
The child left at once. After praying at her mother's bedside for only a few moments, she said, "All right, I'm all through. You're well. Get up now." A short time later her aunt came to the house and found the mother in the kitchen, ironing.
