Christ's leading: the answer to hurry and worry

Sometimes the solution to a problem is so profoundly simple that it astonishes us. If the true source of intelligence is the one and only Mind, divine Mind, isn't that where we should always seek the answer we need? Doesn't turning to God bring the right answer?

The fact that we are actually God's reflection ensures our at-one-ment with Him. Through the teachings and example of Christ Jesus and the discovery and founding of Christian Science by Mary Baker Eddy, we can acquire an understanding of this truth. We can see that we are God's offspring, living under the power of a Life that is infinite, untouched by time; reflecting a Principle that is perfect; and manifesting the peace and stability of Soul. So is there any need to hurry or worry?

In her book entitled Mary Baker Eddy: Her Mission and Triumph, Julia Michael Johnston relates this experience: On October 30, 1906, Mrs. Eddy met with a dozen or so representatives of the press. Nearing the door of the room where the group was gathered, she waited a few seconds before entering. Her companion was distressed lest an impression of hesitancy or indecision had been given. When the visitors left, her companion asked, "Why did you hesitate before entering the room?" Mrs. Eddy answered instantly, "I was waiting for the Christ to go before me."
