You don't have to accept discord!
We all face disturbing situations from time to time. If our efforts at solving a problem have failed, should we give up? Must we learn to live with injustice, or hope that the passage of time will relieve us of misery?
In the Christian Science textbook, Science and Health, Mrs. Eddy states, "It is man's moral right to annul an unjust sentence, a sentence never inflicted by divine authority." Science and Health, p. 381. But how do we annul discord?
We start by learning who we are. The Bible teaches that God made man in His image, and that God is just, loving, and good. Therefore, as God's reflection, man possesses and expresses spiritual qualities. The Bible also teaches that God gave man dominion. This dominion, understood, enables us to overcome adverse circumstances with truth.
