Instead of shadows—shinings!

If shadows claimed a place
to cast their gloom,
you wouldn't try
to rub and scrub
them out of sight

but let Love's light erase
the shadow-fear
by shining clear
in every nook and cranny
of the dream that never was

to show its utter
nothingness!
