God's riches are for you
God's riches abound everywhere because God, Spirit, is omnipresent substance itself. Man is the full representation of divine Spirit. Therefore, all that belongs to God is individualized in man—in the real, spiritual selfhood of you and me and everyone.
The riches with which God supplies man are His spiritual ideas. He has an inexhaustible quantity of them, and so do we. They are constantly present in human consciousness, and the saving Christ—the message from divine Love to mankind—shows us how to recognize them and yield to them in our daily lives.
As our understanding of God grows, we see that He truly cares for us. He provides whatever we need, as spiritual idea manifested in demonstration. God doesn't meet a need by cognizing it humanly. He is Spirit alone. Mrs. Eddy writes, "Rest assured that He in whom dwelleth all life, health, and holiness, will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory." The First Church of Christ, Scientist, and Miscellany, p. 186. Her words echo the Bible promise, "My God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus." Phil. 4: 19.
