Walk with, not away from, God

When confronted by the apparent bigness of a problem, one may at times feel bewildered by the thought of what is required to solve it in Christian Science. One may feel that perhaps his understanding is not equal to the task. It is well to clarify just what is required at such times. The Bible says, "What doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?" Mic. 6:8.

Justice and righteousness go hand in hand; to be righteous before God is to be righteous in action and judgment, conforming to the truth of things. Christian Science shows us how, through God's law of righteousness, to express justice to all.

Science defines God as Life, Truth, Love, and man as His likeness. As human relations conform to the first part of the beatitude "Blessed are the pure in heart," we will have justice of, by, and for all because we "shall see God" Matt. 5:8. and His likeness in all that we do. To express the nature of divine justice gives us spiritual power. One learns that in order to bring his life under the government of divine Principle, and thereby experience healing, he must be honest not only with others but, of even more importance, with himself. Man as Mind's idea is endowed with purity and truthfulness.
