Hallowed be Love
In the vast listings of Webster's Third New International Dictionary of the English Language Unabridged, "Love," capitalized, has no main entry. The uncapitalized noun "love," however, is defined in nine divisions, categorizing various forms of human affection as well as divine benevolence. And among these appears the sole dictionary entry of "Love," capitalized. This lone reference to Love as God is credited by the lexicographer to Christian Science. And well it should be credited, for Christian Science will ever remain God's full and final revelation of Love.
Mrs. Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science, noted well the unwritten definition and sublime demonstration of divine Love in the life of our Master, Christ Jesus. She shared her discovery of that spiritual essence and ineffable entity—Love—that is infinitely greater than the purest and strongest human affection.
Christian Science is God's own revelation of His nature as well as His name. Science reckons that Love—in its unity, harmony, and permanence—is Spirit. Love is Truth that delivers us from believing what the lying material senses suggest.
