God's inexhaustible giving
Sitting on the front porch
watching an ant,
I thought:
Little ant, I could go into my kitchen
and give you bread enough
that you wouldn't know
what to do with it.
Your little tunnels
couldn't hold it all.
Even so, I,
a child of God,
will be thankful
for today's immeasurable supply.
