Decisions that heal
During a discussion of problems facing young people today, one student remarked, "Probably the hardest thing is being pulled in two directions—what you've been taught is right, and what so many people you know are doing. Drugs, alcohol, and sex are so prevalent, all around you, and so accessible."
Another student added, "It gets to you. I see that happening to those whose backgrounds have had none of it. And those who really don't want it go along."
Temptation is nothing new. It goes back to humanity's earliest recognition of the difference between right and wrong and is found throughout the Bible, from the story of Adam and Eve to the accounts of Christ Jesus' career, some two thousand years ago.
