Hearing the voice of God
Our sincere, deep prayers to God should include the expectancy of answers from Him.
Does this sound strange? It shouldn't. When we speak sincerely with one we love, we expect a heartfelt response.
Honest, humble prayer to our creator, the divine Mind, God, cultivates the closest, dearest relationship we can ever experience. In essence it's talking to God and at the same time calling forth a clearer understanding of our own true being, which is utterly at one with God.
