The weekly Lesson-Sermon— some questions answered

[Written for the Sentinel]

One scorching day in Africa, a traveler was trudging wearily up a dusty mountain path that finally led beneath a deep ledge over which a little waterfall was trickling. He rested there. The place was shady and cool, filled with the fragrance of ferns and the rich colors of mosses. The sparkling drops of water made the valley seem far less austere. The traveler could journey on feeling refreshed and strengthened.

What that lovely grotto provided for the traveler in the midst of a desolate terrain is a small indication of the strengthening refreshment and inspiration our weekly Lesson-Sermon In the Christian Science Quarterly. can give to you and me as we face each day's challenges.

But to realize the benefits of studying these Bible Lessons, we need to approach them with wide-open eyes and grateful hearts, conscious of their immense importance and eager to learn more of Truth.
