My introduction to this Science was in the Christian Science Sunday School over seventy years ago. I had never met a Scientist before—I just dropped in one Sunday morning and found myself being lovingly welcomed. In the class that morning I felt that I was hearing for the first time what God really is. I was also introduced to the Christian Science textbook, Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy.

About six months later I was able to heal myself of a cold through the new understanding I had gained of God and man by studying "the scientific statement of being" (Science and Health, p. 468).

A few of the many healings I have had since are those of chronic sick headaches (supposedly inherited), influenza, and an overnight healing of severe arthritic pain. Last summer an accident, which caused internal and external injuries, left me fearful that perhaps I would never walk normally again. I had treatment in Christian Science, and four weeks later I was walking freely. The healing has been complete and permanent.
