Following this article is a testimony relating the healing of learning disability; it illustrates the kind of results achievable through scientific prayer.
Learning disabilities dispelled
One of the labels under the umbrella topic of handicapped children is that of "learning disabled." The trend to classify children under this rubric has become increasingly acceptable. Once children have been diagnosed as "learning disabled," their parents are generally eager to make use of whatever special services and remedial programs are available.
The final regulations for implementing the United States Education of the Handicapped Act define a learning disability as a disorder in one or more of the basic psychological processes involved in understanding and using language, spoken or written. This definition applies to difficulties in listening, talking, thinking, reading, writing, spelling, or in doing mathematical calculations.
How comforting and freeing to know the fact revealed in Christian Science that God and man are one as infinite Principle and its infinite idea. This law of oneness silences any mortal opinions that claim to separate man from the perfection of his Father Mother God, divine Mind.
