One morning I suddenly felt ill
[Original in Spanish]
One morning I suddenly felt ill. There was no sensation in one of my arms, and I couldn't control my hand. I also had difficulty speaking. At no time did I feel afraid. Taking the firm stand that God would heal me, I managed to telephone my wife, who was at work. She came home right away. Meanwhile, I waited and prayed. My condition appeared to be very serious.
My wife called a Christian Science practitioner, who immediately assured us that she would give me prayerful metaphysical treatment. In a short while I was able to open my hand, which had become rigid. That afternoon the practitioner visited us, and I was greatly improved. She continued her prayer for several days, and my progress was marked.
