I have been attending Christian Science Sunday School for about fourteen years now—since I was about four years old. I am really grateful for the many wonderful healings I have had, especially this one, which taught me that everything God has made is good, and that He has given man dominion.

My sister and I were in the garden when I sat down on what turned out to be a wasps' nest. Suddenly, it seemed as though thousands of wasps were covering my body. They were in my clothes and hair, crawling all over me. My screams brought my mother and father, and together we affirmed that I was forever safe—shielded by the divine law of Love. We also acknowledged that God, who is omnipotent good, creates nothing that is poisonous or harmful. I felt only love for the wasps, as I realized that all creatures are really God's ideas and live to express Him.

My mother telephoned a Christian Science practitioner, who reminded us the Bible says that God gave man dominion "over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth" and that "God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good" (Gen. 1:26, 31). The practitioner began praying, and all fear left me, although I was still covered with the wasps.
